plans for the week.....

Having the Sassi memorial race cancelled was a huge disappointment.  It was great that all of you came to Pineland to practice after getting back to Falmouth.  Today, we had a great time on our Tour de Falmouth.  What a gorgeous day!!! Thank you to Mike Cantlin, Andy Meyer, Mark Bernier, Louise Abramson for all of your help.  And thank you to Jeff Walker for navigating the beautiful trails of Falmouth. I hope the rest of you were out skiing!

Plans for the week:

Monday:  Classic practice at Pineland.  If school is cancelled or after school activities are cancelled, please get out for a ski or vigorous snow shoe.  HS trails will probably not be ready for tomorrow.  We’ll let you know if that changes.


Tuesday:  Short classic practice at HS, waxing to follow.


Wednesday: Classic race, Libby Hill 3:00. Bus leaves at 12:15.  Western Maine Championship race.  This year, the championships will end with a pursuit race.  This means that your finish in the race on Wednesday determines your start order and time in the skate race on Saturday.

Thursday:  Skate practice at Pineland

Friday:  Skate practice at HS (if groomed), waxing to follow


Saturday:  Final WMC race (skate) at Starks Hill. Bus leaves at 7:45, race starts at 10:00
