Saturday Race

We have entered the Maranacook Waves race this saturday. We weren't planning on racing this, but given our lack of skiing this week and our canceled race, we thought this would be a great opportunity to get in a fun and fast workout. The race was moved to Sugarloaf, so we will be able to get in 60-90 minutes of skiing before the race in excellent snow on excellent terrain.

The race is 5K Freestyle (skate).  Wave start by class (seniors first, then juniors, etc.).  There will be 6 to 8 skiers per wave depending on the number of entrants. The course will be 2 X the sprint loop (fun loop!). Student fees are covered. Parents can by a sugarloaf (Nordic!) day pass for $10, which is 1/2 price.

Bus leaves at 7:30 am - wheels up! Do not arrive at 730!
Registration at 10:00
Boys Race at 12:00
Girls Race at 1:15
Awards at 1:45-2:30
Return at about 5:00 or 5:30
