Ditch the knee pads and helmet, wax the boards, and ski Pineland today 1-3PM! Meet at the wax room, next to the outdoor center (ski shop) beneath the Market Place. We will start on the RIVER VALLEY LOOP (bring a wind proof layer!) then back to the wax room to see if there are stragglers. Then we will head to the OAK HILL LOOP to get out of the wind. Here is the report from Pineland's outdoor center page:
"The groomers were out all night breaking up the frozen surface so the trails will be much better skiing today than yesterday. We have about 20 kilometers open for skate skiing. Unfortunately, there is not enough snow to set tracks but you can always classic without them; it is GREAT for your techneque. There are a few icy patches about and a rock protruding through the snow here and there but avoiding them should be fairly easy."
