Training: Wed - Sat

Skiers - this is the part of the season where we have to be flexible.

Wed - 75 minutes total including 6 x 3 minute level 4 intervals (skate) at Riverside GC. We will hopefully have a bus. Otherwise, we need to just carpool to the  south parking lot (the north parking lot is the lot with the large clubhouse. it is the lot you come to first. the south lot is the lot with a little shack). If we cannot get a bus, I have to leave it up to the skiers to get there. Please try to find a ride. Please try to fill your car with skiers. See if your parent can help. If you cannot make it to Riverside for whatever reason, there are two alternatives:
1) Ski behind the school. The best snow is the field behind the middle school. Do a 6 x 3 minute interval and ski easy before and after, or
2) go for a 40-60 minute run with 6 x 3 minutes at L3-L4 pace.

Th - THE THURSDAY RACE IS OFFICIALLY CANCELLED. Instead. we will very likely run. Rain is predicted for Wed night. I suspect this will wash away snow. Be flexible. We may send some athletes to Riverside. Those hoping to make the states team should get in a 75 minute workout at level 1. The minimum workout should be 50 minutes. This could include a combination of running, pole running (only if the snow is really gone from the field), fast walking, and ski-erging.

S - Let's try to go to Black Mtn. We will call to confirm that can accomodate us. We will need parents to drive.

Sunday - Rest. If you feel that you need to exercise sunday, I'd rather see double up your  ski/run wed-fri (Sat should be a long day regardless). This means - go for a morning run or ski loooooonger w-th-f
