Saturday is an important day for the ski team. We are now in championship mode with WMC championships next week then state championship 9 days later. We still have hard skiing left - both fitness and technique. Given snow conditions here, skiing Saturday with the coaches is more important than ever.
We hope to go to Black Mtn. We will do skate Level 3 intervals + work on skate technique. Bring classic skis and after a snack we will go ski 5K classic and work on climbing hills.
We don't know if we have a bus. If some parents can volunteer as backup drivers that would be hugely appreciated. We need a good head count at tomorrow's practice who is skiing with us Saturday.
