Our first week was a good one. The freshman and new upper class team members are very cool and seem to be picking up what Jeff and I are laying down. It seems you're all working hard, embracing practice and each other and getting amped up for some snow.
Falmouth Nordic is about hard work, deep satisfaction in learning new skills, and pride in being a team member of our special group. So stay focused, eat well, get enough sleep and be fierce.
If you're serious about scoring points for the team, you should be doing 2000 meters or about 12 minutes of Ski Erg'ing a day, and you should also be doing a minimum of 10 pullups every day. you can split them up, do 20 or whatever feels right. You're not going to score points on your good looks, although we do have a very smart looking team this season. I'd like to see all of you hitting the Ski Ergs as much as you can.
Jeff and I appreciate your communication with us. If you're going to miss practice, if you want to know why we're doing a particular workout, If practice is too hard or not hard enough, if your feeling an injury or illness, or if you heard something cool and you want to share it. Talk to us! If its private, just grab a shirtsleeve and drag us aside. Seriously.
Enjoy your weekend all and see you on Monday for another week of dryland training.
Coach James
