Today- thursday

The weather looks like it will cooperate with us so we will be using all the roller skis and running.

A more advanced group should go for a distance ski, level 1 with some level 3 double pole intervals thrown in for good measure. This can easily be 2 groups, one thats a little faster and another less fast.

A less experienced group will roller ski at the woodlands, with an emphasis on double poling. We learned a lot about double poling technique yesterday with the milk jugs and the video so lets try to incorporate what we've learned into practice.

Our running group should work on a solid tempo run. Running may seem less important than roller skiing but having a good cardio base is paramount to a decent xc ski season. The US Ski Team is running more during its season for that very reason.
