One of these is not like the others..

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong. These photos are screen captures from the xcskizone videos linked from the "training videos" page. V1, V2, V2alternate, and Double Pole are all pictured. All of the pictures are at or very soon after pole plant. Can you match the gear with the picture?

If you're struggling to match the gear with the top left, top right, and bottom right image, then GOOD! In the V2 and V2 alternate THE UPPER BODY DOUBLE POLES just like in double poling! The hands are HIGH (bring them up to the ears!) and symmetric on each side of the head, shoulder width apart. This cannot be said enough. In the V2 and V2 alternate THE UPPER BODY DOUBLE POLES just like in double poling! The hands are HIGH (bring them up to the ears!) and symmetric on each side of the head, shoulder width apart. So all of the pictures except the lower left are like each other.

The lower left image doesn't belong. The lower left image is V1 of course. Look at the hand asymmetry. The strong side hand is HIGH (ears or above!) and the weak side hand is LOW (chest level).

So what are the answers? upper left: V2; upper right: double pole; lower right: V2alternate
